Location. The Stay at Desert Ridge is located on the fringe of Scottsdale in Phoenix, Ariz. The Desert Ridge Marketplace, featuring live entertainment, over 30 restaurants, well-known retail stores and specialty shops in an outdoor setting, is across from the property. The Reach 11 Recreation Area, located one mile from the resort, offers an equestrian center, hiking and riding trails, a picnic area with barbecue grills, and a desert wildlife and nature area. The Wildfire Golf Club at Desert Ridge is less than two miles from the resort.
Features. The Stay at Desert Ridge, built in 2006, is a gated community boasting the character and charm of the Southwest with cutting edge design. The grounds of the community are enhanced by shaded courtyards and grassy lawns. Light and healthy breakfasts in the suites, and grocery shopping services are available for a fee. The outdoor pool is complemented by spouting water features. A 24-hour fitness facility is equipped with free weights, universal machines, step climbers, treadmills and a separate yoga room.

Guestrooms. Suites at The Stay at Desert Ridge feature individual designs with modern lighting, ceramic-tile flooring, walk-in closets and built-in computer desks. Two-bedroom units offer a master bedroom with double sinks in the bathroom and a bedroom with a bathroom and a jetted tub. All suites feature stainless-steel kitchens. Private garages are provided for each suite. The suites feature private balconies or patios with gas barbecue grills. High-speed Internet service is complimentary. Expert Tip. The Wildfire Golf Club offers two championship 18-hole courses within two miles of the resort, each with its own distinct personality. The Palmer Signature Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, offers sweeping fairways and generous bent-grass greens with slight undulations, combined with the Sonoran Desert. The Faldo Championship Course, designed by Nick Faldo, boasts fairways surrounded by the desert and Saguaro cactus, fast bent-grass greens and 106 sand bunkers.
