This grand Victorian home was built in 1882 by a master ship builder for Captain Martin Brandt. A grand entry and staircase with nautical décor welcomes guests. The inn features a deck surrounded by a country garden, waterfalls and an arbor. Complimentary full breakfasts are served in the dining room. The inn offers afternoon tea for a fee, including scones, a fine selection of teas, cream, jam sandwiches, puff pastries with meat and desserts. The Fireside Room offers a sitting area, library, fireplace and piano. The first Saturday of each month, The Ship's Inn Bed & Breakfast holds a reception showcasing a local artist, and displays the artist's work in the inn for one month.
