Location. Nestled in the Aventine complex on the northern shore of San Diego's "Golden Triangle" suburban business district is the Mediterranean-style Hyatt Regency La Jolla (Calif.). This Michael Graves designed resort is four miles from the Torrey Pines Golf Course and downtown La Jolla, and within five miles of Torrey Pines Beach. A local bus conveniently stops next to the property and provides transportation to the surrounding area.
Hotel Features. Café Japengo presents sushi and Pacific Rim cuisine, with specialties including Hawaiian BBQ Salmon and Char Su Roasted Duck. Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar hosts over 100 wines by-the glass and American steakhouse fare. The Melting Pot fondue restaurant features unique entrees and four fondue cooking styles, and Michael's Lounge boasts billiards, a limited dinner and appetizer menu, and a selection of cigars from a custom made humidor.
