Location. The La Quinta Resort & Club - The Waldorf-Astoria is located in La Quinta, Calif. The resort stands in the shadows of the Santa Rosa Mountains and is surrounded by championship golf courses and world-class tennis courts. With a Spanish hacienda design amid palms, citrus trees, flowers and cacti, the resort is less than 20 miles from Palm Springs yet close to the Living Desert, a 1,200-acre garden and refuge where visitors can see desert plants in bloom, cheetahs, camels, mountain lions and giraffes in natural habitats. The La Quinta Resort & Club - The Waldorf-Astoria is close to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the Palm Springs Convention Center.
