The Squaw Valley Lodge in Olympic Valley, Calif., boasts a slope-side location in the Squaw Valley ski mountain. This is the only property in Olympic Valley offering ski-in/ski-out access to two chair lifts and the resort's gondola and cable car leading up the mountain to the peak. Shopping, dining and nightlife are only steps away in Squaw Valley's European-style alpine pedestrian village.
Fitness buffs and guests needing a relaxing massage can visit the the Squaw Valley Lodge's own Health Club and Spa, where guests can soak their cares away in one of the hydrotherapy pools or fireside indoor spas. The fitness center comes replete with a variety of cardio and resistance training equipment and private lockers in gender appropriate locker rooms. Visitors enjoy complimentary use of two gas barbecue grills, located on a red-stone sundeck next to the outdoor pool and hot tub. In the summer months picnic tables are available. Guest services at the lodge include concierge, airport shuttle (fee), bell service, grocery delivery, movie and VCR rentals and daily maid service.

The suites are located in seven buildings arranged neighborhood- style. The units, designed in a clean-lined, contemporary style, effuse good taste with blond wood furniture, brightly colored bedding and accents, and track or recessed lighting, which creates a warm and inviting glow. All of the units have kitchenettes, and the Squaw Valley Lodge thoughtfully provides guests with extra perks such as additional ski storage, deep soaking tubs, high-speed Internet access and French Roast coffee from the San Francisco Bay Coffee Co.

From Reno/Tahoe Airport:
When departing the airport, take Highway 395 north.
Take the Interstate 80 exit west following the Sacramento signs.
Travel on Interstate 80 west for about 30 miles to Truckee.
Once in Truckee, take the highway 89 exit south following the signs for Squaw Valley and Tahoe City.
Drive eight miles to Squaw Valley Road.
Proceed three miles to the end of Squaw Valley Road.
Take a right on Squaw Peak Road.
The resort is 50 yards on the left.
