Hotel Features. Influenced by Spanish architecture and design, The Cliffs Resort wears a dreamy, sea-foam façade and a red-tiled roof. To the delight of their esteemed clientele, the hotel staff presents afternoon wine-tastings on Fridays, and Saturday sunset sangria parties in the lobby. From San Luis Obispo Regional Airport:
Exit airport and turn left onto Broad Street/CA 229.
Proceed to first stoplight (Tank Farm Road).
Turn left and proceed one mile to next stoplight (South Higuera Street).
Turn left and proceed 1.5 miles to US 101 South ramp.
Take US 101 Southbound to Spyglass/Shell Beach Road exit.
At the bottom of ramp take two turns onto Frontage Road (Shell Beach Road).
The Cliffs Resort is located on the west side of Shell Beach Road.
