Location. The Cascade Village at Durango Mountain Resort is situated at the foot of Engineer Mountain beneath the spectacular Needles Peaks, two miles north of Purgatory Village and Durango Mountain Resort's main entrance in Durango, Colo. A walk through the aspen and pine forest located adjacent to the property, eventually leads to Cascade Creek and its famous waterfalls. Within a ten-block radius in the old downtown of Durango is a variety of restaurants and watering holes to please every taste in music and cuisine. For those who don't mind the 50 miles drive, Ridgway State Park offers 1,000 acres of water for boating, fishing and swimming.
Hotel Features. The Castle Grill is located on site and offers tasty fare and a full bar. Conference space and complimentary wireless Internet access are available within the lodge. Laundry facilities exist on site and there is general store and a ski shop. The resort features an indoor pool and jetted tub, and there are two jetted tubs located outdoor.

Guestrooms. Each of the studio, one- and two-bedroom units come with balconies, wood burning fireplaces and kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and ranges, with studio lofts featuring galley kitchens. Jetted tubs are located in each unit. br>
Expert Tip. The San Juan Skyway is a 236-mile route designated as one of six "All American" roads by the United States Department of Transportation. Looping through alpine forest, rolling hills and towering mountains, the road connects Durango with other popular towns such as Telluride, Ouray and Ridgway.
