The Baldpate Inn, located seven miles south of Estes Park, Colo., is less than one-quarter mile from Lily Lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Horseback riding and hiking are available in the park, and the marina on Lake Estes, seven miles from The Baldpate Inn, offers a variety of boat rentals.
The Baldpate Inn was constructed in 1917, and consists of a main lodge and separate guest cabins. The inn offers a mountain- view restaurant with home-made soups, breads, and pies, an on-site library with cable television, and a lobby with massive stone fireplaces. A complimentary breakfast of coffee and fruit juice, muffins, seasonal berries, quiche, and hot cinnamon rolls is served daily. The Baldpate Inn is home of the world's largest key collection, acquired through an old tradition of returning visitors bringing a key to the inn and leaving it when they depart.

The twelve guestrooms and four cabins at The Baldpate Inn are decorated in rustic mountain country style, displayed through handmade quilts and calico and gingham dust ruffles. Many rooms have views of the forest or valley. Rooms have either shared or private bathrooms. Bathrobes are provided.

Exit right onto I-25 N.

At the first light after crossing Lake Estes, turn left onto CO-7 S.
