Location. ResortQuest Rentals at Blue Mesa Lodge enjoys ski-in/ski-out access, just one block from the Telluride Golf Club and less than one-quarter mile from shopping and dining in Mountain Village, Colo. Downtown Telluride, seven miles from the property, was once a rowdy mining town. Originally called Columbia, Telluride was the site of Butch Cassidy's first bank robbery in 1889. Nowadays it is a year-round recreation destination for mountain bikers, skiers, snowboarders, anglers and hikers. Other outdoor pursuits include horseback riding, golfing and four-wheeling. Tennis courts, a skateboard ramp, picnic areas and fishing pond are also located in Telluride. The town offers shopping, dining and nightlife, and hosts film and music festivals in the summer.
Hotel Features. The lodge offers ski storage and guest laundry facilities. La Piazza del Villagio is on site and serves authentic Italian cuisine.

Guestrooms. Accommodations range from standard hotel rooms to condos with two- or four-bedrooms. All units feature CD stereos, VCRs and cable television. Condos have kitchenettes with ranges, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Hotel rooms have microwave ovens and coffeemakers and some come with compact refrigerators.

Expert Tip. Cosmopolitan is a fine dining restaurant located in Telluride. Specialty dishes include barbequed salmon with crispy corn-potato ravioli and grilled dry-aged rib-eye served with chive-horseradish mashed potatoes. The Tasting Cellar offers an intimate six-course diner and a selection of over 200 wines.
