Location.Disney's Wilderness Lodge, in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., is located in the Magic Kingdom, and offers boat transportation to the park and bus transportation to water parks and Downtown Disney 10 miles away.
Hotel Features. Backdrops like Native American carvings and the hourly exploding Fire Rock Geyser are featured at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The hotel offers three dining options. Roaring Fork Snacks will feed guests on the go while Artist Point continues the Pacific Northwest theme of the lodge. Whispering Canyon Café is Western- style. Recreation opportunities include catch and release fishing, watercraft and bike rentals and jogging along the one- mile trail. The hotel offers a pool, a hot and a cold spa and Bay Lake Beach. Babysitting/childcare services such as Cub's Den, for ages four through 12, provide an evening out for adults while children indulge in supervised activities like games, Disney movies, dinner and snacks.

Guestrooms. A wildlife motif and Pacific Northwest decorations are featured in each of the 728 guestrooms. Decorated mission-style, the rooms feature deep orange and red accents and offer patios or balconies with sunset views. Turndown service is available on request and each room features an in-room coffeemaker, refrigerator and complimentary newspaper delivery. The lodge's mercantile offers Disney video rentals.

Expert Tip. Guests big and small can search for the 12 Hidden Mickeys, (indistinct formations of Mickey Mouse's head) found throughout Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

Disney's Magical Express:
Guests of the resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express Service. Motor coaches take guests from Orlando International Airport to the resort hotel. From Orlando International Airport:
Depart the airport and bear right (South) onto S. Access Road.
Continue South on Boggy Creek Road.
Take SR-417/Central Florida Greenway.
There will be a toll.
Take Exit 6 and keep left at the fork on the ramp.
Merge onto International Drive.
Stay on International Drive to FL-536 W.
Take FL-536, turn right, and follow signs to Walt Disney World Resort.
FL-536 W becomes Epcot Center Drive.
Take the ramp toward Magic Kingdom Resorts/Fort Wilderness.
Merge onto World Drive.
Turn right onto Timberline Drive.
