Location.  The Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Fla., is a 110-acre property, stretching over 20 miles of sugar-white beaches. Within two miles of the resort are attractions including the Shipwreck Island Water Park, the Coconut Creek Family Fun Park and the Rain Forest Republic.
Features. On-site dining is available at the Oceans Bar and Grill, a mirrored-wall, tropical restaurant and lounge. There is also a beachfront bar, and room service is also offered. Business amenities include meeting space, event catering and wireless Internet access. The Edgewater Beach Resort functions much like village, with shops, a Mediterranean-style deli, Internet café, tram, and a spa and fitness center. One of the main attractions of this property is the 11,000-square-foot Polynesian-style lagoon pool, featuring an elaborate system of waterfalls and an island. The pool deck includes two heated jetted tubs, six reflection pools, and live entertainment most afternoons. From Panama City-Bay County International Airport:
Exit the airport onto Airport Road.
Turn right onto Highway 390.
Turn right onto 23rd Street and travel approximately 10 minutes.
Turn right onto Highway 98 and go west.
After crossing the Hathaway Bridge, proceed through two lights.
At the third light, veer right at the fork.
Pass the Hombre Golf Club on the left, and then turn left onto Beckrich Road.
Go through one light and look for the resort on the right.
