Location. Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the Emerald Isle Condominiums in Panama City Beach, Fla., is two miles from Frank Brown Park and three miles from the Arvida Pier Park. Family attractions, including Shipwreck Island Water Park, Gulf World Aquarium and Zoo World are all within ten miles. Convenience stores, restaurants and shops are located along Front Beach Road.
Hotel Features. This family-friendly, 22-story high-rise resort sits on the sugar-white sands of Panama City Beach. The resort offers two gulf-front pools, two beachfront spa tubs, a fitness center and poolside sauna. Barbecue grills are provided at the pool pavilion. Free parking is available. In the summer, this resort offers planned children's activities.

Guestrooms. These privately owned condos, offer approximately 1,400-square-feet of living space, with separate dining rooms, living areas, bedrooms and kitchens. The full kitchens are equipped with refrigerators, full-size stoves, microwave ovens, dishwashers and coffeemakers. These two-bedroom condos have two bathrooms, and most units have sofa beds in the living rooms. Private balconies offer gulf views. Entertainment amenities include cable televisions with VCRs or DVD players. Washers and dryers are also included.

Expert Tip. St. Andrews State Park, located 12 miles to the east, is made up of forests, sand dunes, fresh and saltwater marshes, and one-and-a-half miles of beach on the Gulf of Mexico and Grand Lagoon. This 1,260-acre park offers opportunities for snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and canoeing. The park also has two fishing piers, a jetty, and a boat ramp. Two nature trails wind through thick forests, offering prime opportunities for hiking and bird-watching.
