Location. Waterstone Emerald Isle Resort sits directly on the ocean in Panama City Beach, Fla. Conveniently located on Front Beach Road, this high-rise resort is within walking distance of chain and local restaurants, starting at one half-mile away. St. Andrews State Park, a 13-mile drive from the resort, is a popular destination for snorkeling and scuba diving. Hotel Features. Waterstone Emerald Isle Resort, occupying a 23-story gulf front tower, features two outdoor pools with a pool pavilion, barbecue grills and two hot tubs. Beach service, including chairs and umbrellas, is offered on the waterfront on the resort's nearly 300 feet of beach. This resort has an exercise room and small meeting room with views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Guestrooms. The 199 condo-style guestrooms at this resort offer 1,400- to 1,510-square- feet of living space with separate sitting areas, kitchens and private balconies. Bedrooms have walk-in closets, and units are equipped with cable televisions, DVD/DVR players, VCRs and washer/dryers.

Expert Tip. Panama City Beach is a great destination for avid fishers, as the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay offer excellent sport fishing.
