Loggerhead Cay is a condominium resort in Ft. Myers, Fla., on the Gulf of Mexico. Guests can take a short bike ride to "Ding Darling" Wildlife Refuge. Sanibel shopping and numerous restaurants are nearby.
Guests can relax on the resort's landscaped grounds or sandy beach or take a dip in the heated pool. Guest with extra energy will want to take advantage of basketball, shuffleboard or one of the two tennis courts. Elevators and barbeque grills are also on site.

These two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominiums each have a fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, microwave oven and dishwasher. Units have separate living, sleeping and dining rooms and a washer and dryer. Each unit offers air conditioning, an alarm clock radio, cable television, ceiling fans, modem/data port connection, telephone and video player. Guests can eat breakfast or watch the sunset on your private screened in balcony or patio. These accommodations are large enough for family and friends to gather, yet still offer the privacy of an intimate atmosphere.

Check-in is at the Grande Island Vacations office 1506 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel Island, Fl.
From Southwest Florida International Airport:
Take Terminal Access Rd to Tree Line Rd.
Turn right onto Tree Line Rd and continue to Daniels Rd.
Turn left onto Daniels Road and continue for 2.5 miles.
Turn left onto Six Mile Cypress Rd and continue for three miles.
After crossing Hwy 41, Six Mile Cypress Rd becomes Gladiolus Rd.
Continue on Gladiolus Rd for 1.5 miles.
Turn left onto Summerlin Rd and continue for eight miles to Sanibel Cswy (toll is $6, subject to change).
Cross over Sanibel Cswy and turn right at the four-way stop onto Periwinkle Way.
