Location. ResortQuest Waikiki Banyan is a family-friendly resort in Honolulu, Hawaii, located on the Diamond Head side of Oahu, one block from Waikiki Beach and one-half mile from the Ala Wai Golf Course. Positioned in a quiet neighborhood two blocks from Waikiki Beach, this resort is close to shopping and dining on Kalakaua Avenue.
Hotel Features. A waterfall with a fish pond, landscape paintings and photos of old Waikiki grace the magnificent lobby of this modern high-rise hotel. A computer with wireless Internet access is available for a fee in the resort's hospitality room. Fax and copy services are offered at the front desk for a fee. An impressive rooftop recreation deck houses a pool, sauna, tennis court, barbecue area, snack bar and lounge chairs for sunbathing. A 24-hour fitness center, three blocks from the resort, offers access to guests of the resort for a discounted fee. Kid-friendly amenities include a children's playground and special toy packages upon arrival. Children 12 years and under will receive a complimentary plastic beach pail and shovel set, Hawaiian Endangered Animals coloring book, crayons, sunglasses and a squirt toy upon check-in.

Guestrooms. With floor-to-ceiling windows, bold wood furniture and island décor, each of the resort's 288 condominium-style guestrooms, located in two buildings, are elegantly arranged to meet the needs of their diverse clientele. Popular among families, these suites feature breakfast bars or dining sets and kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. All suites feature private lanais. VCRs, in-room safes and high-speed Internet access are available for a fee.

Expert Tip. Kapiolani Park, a 500-acre expanse, which is home to the famed Diamond Head Crater and the Honolulu Zoo, offers jogging paths as well as sightseeing opportunities.

From Honolulu International Airport:
Approximate distance to the property is nine miles.

Exit the airport terminal and access the H-1 Freeway East.
Exit freeway via Nimitz Highway and follow signs to Waikiki.
Nimitz Highway will become Ala Moana Boulevard.
Continue along Ala Moana until it merges with Kalakaua Avenue at the southwest entrance to Waikiki.
Bear left onto Kuhio Avenue.
Turn left on Paokalani Avenue.
Turn left on Ala Wai Boulevard.
Turn left on Ohua Avenue.
The resort is located on the left corner of Ohua and Kuhio Avenues.
