Overlooking Waikiki Beach and the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean is the ResortQuest Waikiki Beach Tower. Located on Kalakaua Avenue, popular for its trendy shopping, dining and entertainment venues, this property is perfect for the vacation traveler.  Public transportation is located nearby and is excellent for exploring the rest of the island.

Set back from the street, the hotel offers peace and quiet from the whirlwind of activity in Waikiki.  Walking up to the hotel from the street, guests can marvel at the beautiful flagstone walk bordered by lava-rock walls and shaded by an arbor dripping with blossoms and offering seating for weary soles.

The hotel offers an outdoor pool area with a sundeck and spa tub. Men's and women's saunas are available and there are laundry facilities on-site. There is a conference room for business travelers and supervised child care/activities for families. Limited room service is offered, along with concierge and valet services.

All suites at the Waikiki Beach Tower are air conditioned and feature kitchens and private lanais (balconies) overlooking the ocean.  Bathrooms have shower/tub combinations, plush towels and scented French-milled soaps. Housekeeping are offered twice daily. Each evening a different, collectible seashell is tucked into a silk purse and placed on pillows. The kitchens feature refrigerators, microwave ovens, stoves, dishwashers, toasters, coffeemakers, blenders and rice cookers. Other amenities include cable television, DVD players, bathrobes, wet bars and Internet access.  There are also washer/dryer combos and in-room safes in each unit. The spacious living rooms provide sitting areas and dining room tables.

This hotel is currently refurbishing their suites through 2008 (completion dates subject to change). On select dates, the water will be shutdown for brief periods of time, and some minor chipping noise may take place.

Refurbishment work will be unnoticeable to guests, however, some minor chipping noise will occur on the below dates; the work creating the noise will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

  • March 7 to 9, 2007
  • March 12 to 16, 2007
  • March 19 to 22, 2007

    The water will be shutdown from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on March 15, 20, and 27, 2007. During this time, bottled water will be supplied to all guests and the restrooms located on the 4th floor will be open for guest use.

    As an added benefit, all guests staying March 7 to 9, 12 to 16, 19 to 22, or 27, 2007 will receive complimentary round-trip trolley tickets on Enoa Tours to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The tickets will be good for up to four people.

    The hotel assures that it will make every effort to minimize construction noise and related disturbance.

    From Honolulu International Airport:
    Exit the airport terminal and access H-1 Freeway East.
    Exit freeway onto Nimitz Highway and follow signs to Waikiki.
    Nimitz Highway will become Ala Moana Boulevard.
    Continue until Ala Moana Boulevard merges with Kalakaua Avenue.
    Proceed along Kalakaua Avenue to Lilliuokalani Avenue, then turn left and then left again into the driveway of the resort.
