Location. The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas, located in Lahaina, Hawaii, are set on 14 acres in Maui's North Kaanapali Beach area. Kapalua Airport is three miles from the resort. Kaanapali Golf Courses and Whalers Village are within two miles of the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas' open-air lobby leads to lush, landscaped gardens. Fresh seafood and bistro fare are served for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the casual Ocean Pool Bar and Grill. Sundries, Starbucks coffee and takeout deli items are available at The General Store. The 24-hour business center offers print, fax and photocopy services, while complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. The hotel's 8,000-square-foot outdoor pool complex includes a water slide, wading pool, two spa tubs sheltered by lava-rock grottos and views of the vast waters of the Pacific Ocean. Children can enjoy the activity center, which provides videos, board games and Hawaiian cultural activities. Other recreational activities include on-site ocean activities and equipment rental, tennis at two lighted courts and workouts at the 24-hour fitness center that includes a steam room and sauna.

Guestrooms. The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas feature Westin's Heavenly Beds, which offer pillowtop mattresses, triple sheeting, down comforters and down pillows. Bathrooms include see-through jetted tubs, separate showers, bathrobes and Heavenly bath toiletries. Framed art of Hawaiian flora decorates walls. Kitchenettes are outfitted with refrigerators, microwave ovens, stoves, dishwashers and coffeemakers. Orders placed at the on-site grocery store can be delivered to guestrooms upon arrival. Other amenities include high-speed Internet access and Bose Wave radios.

Expert Tip. The resort makes it easy to enjoy the services of its sister property, the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. After taking the complimentary shuttle service to the other hotel, I enjoyed the health spa, additional pools and restaurants.

Renovation Notice:
 This hotel is currently constructing several buildings on its property. This phase of construction will include building a health spa and additional dining options at the resort. During this time, current guest amenities will not be affected. The construction is scheduled for completion in January 2008.
