Location. Poised on the sunny shores of Kaanapali, Maui, Hawaii, and four miles from the historic whaling village of Lahaina,, is the 14-acre beachside ResortQuest Kaanapali Shores (formerly Aston). This property is praised by nature enthusiasts for its many vantage points for whale-watching from December until April.
Hotel Features. Waterfalls, lava rocks and koi-filled lagoons and streams decorate the property's grounds, which boast a wedding gazebo atop a tropical rock garden. An open-air lobby is filled with gentle ocean breezes, fresh palms and the sound of a nearby waterfall. The poolside Beach Club Restaurant serves Pacific Rim and American fare for all three meals. A full bar and live contemporary Hawaiian entertainment on Wednesdays keep the pool area lively. Two activity desks are available to assist with planning activities and excursions. Wednesday Polynesian pool parties feature festive music and dancing. A garden pool, lagoon and an outdoor pool are surrounded by tropical foliage, gardens and foot paths. A beauty salon, tropical flower shop and beach apparel store are located in the lobby. Additional amenities include three illuminated tennis courts, a fitness/massage center offering poolside massages, two spa tubs, hula lessons and scuba lessons.
