Location. The Kahana Beach Vacation Club sets on a white-sand beach in Kahana, Hawaii, less than six miles north of the town of Lahaina on the west side of Maui. Sailing, snorkeling and swimming are just steps from the resort. A beach walk winds through Kaanapali Beach, located four miles away, offering easy access to beachfront resorts, shopping and restaurants. On the northernmost section of Kaanapali Beach, Black Rock Beach is known for snorkeling, swimming and scuba diving. The resort is within 15 miles of five championship golf courses.
Features. This high-rise condo resort offers scenic views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai. An outdoor pool and a spa tub offer ocean views. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. The resort offers an activity desk and planned activities throughout the week, including an island orientation breakfast, nature walks, lei making, hula dancing and an ice cream social. Barbecue grills are provided for guests' use.

Guestrooms. Suites at the Kahana Beach Vacation Club are decorated with light, airy, natural finishes in blonde woods, bamboo, shell stone and granite. Hawaiian fabrics accent the furnishings in the suites. All accommodations include kitchens with glass cooktops, ovens, refrigerators, microwave ovens and cookware. Private lanais offer expansive views of the ocean and sea turtles just off the shore.

Expert Tip. The Kapalua Plantation Golf Course, located two miles from the resort, hosts the PGA Tour's Mercedes Championship each January, and is open to the public.

Take Highway 380 to Highway 30 and turn left.
Stay on Highway 30, driving past the Lahaina and Kaanapali exits.

Turn left at the intersection at Hoohui Road.
Turn left at the stop sign and travel one-quarter mile.
