The Kapalua Villas Maui

Location. The Kapalua Villas Maui is located on the grounds of the Kapalua Resort on the northwest shore of Maui, Hawaii. Nestled between the sapphire waters of the Pacific Ocean and the emerald mountains of West Maui, the resort offers three miles of shoreline, and is home to three championship golf courses. Two of the courses were designed by the renowned Arnold Palmer. The villas are 10 miles from shopping, fine dining and nightlife in the historic city of Lahaina.
Features. The Kapalua Resort is set on 23,000 acres amidst a working pineapple plantation featuring three white-sand beaches. The resort is lined with century-old Cook pines and surrounded by a vast green sanctuary encompassing two nature preserves. Guests of The Kapalua Villas Maui receive charging privileges at the Kapalua Resort's shops and restaurants, preferred rates and access to three golf courses, and complimentary access to lighted tennis courts. The resort offers a 24-hour reception center with car rentals, concierge services, fax services and bell service to the villas. The resort's hotel offers guests access to a secluded beach, a three-tiered pool, two spa tubs, a nine-hole putting green and a bocce ball lawn. The hotel's fitness center and spa features weight training and cardiovascular equipment, steam rooms and saunas. A variety of beach activities and equipment are available at the beach activities desk at the hotel, including kayaking, snorkeling and boogie boarding. Complimentary shuttle service is available to shops, restaurants and beaches throughout the resort, and the airport. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. Villas at the Kapalua Villas Maui feature Hawaiian-style décor and furnishings with a tropical flair. Units are either on one level or loft style with an upstairs bedroom. All accommodations feature furnished lanais and living rooms with cable television and VCRs. Full kitchens include microwave ovens, refrigerators, coffeemakers, cookware and dishes. Complimentary high-speed Internet access is provided. All units offer washers and dryers. The villas feature ocean or golf course views.

Expert Tip. The Kapalua Resort's Plantation Golf Club hosts the PGA Tour's Mercedes-Benz Championship each January. The course was designed on a grand scale across natural geographic formations and pineapple plantation fields by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore.

Guests must check in at the Reception Center in the historic 1916 plantation-style building located at 500 Office Road, Lahaina, Maui.
From Kapalua Airport:
Approximate distance to the resort is five miles.

Drive toward the airport exit on Alahao Street.
Alahao Street becomes Amala Place.
Turn left onto Hobron Avenue.
Turn right onto Kaahumanu Avenue.
Bear right on Kahului Beach Road (HI-340).
Turn right to follow HI-340.
HI-340 becomes HI-30.
Continue to the resort.
