Des Moines' Greyhound station is just northwest of downtown at 1107 Keosauqua Way. From the very efficient transfer depot at Sixth Avenue and Walnut Street, MTA buses (tel 515/283-8100) run practically everywhere in the city. The visitor center is at 405 6th Ave, Suite 201 (Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm; tel 515/286-4960 or 1-800/451-2625, ).
