American Country Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful hillside retreat surrounded by pine trees and grassy meadows in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Nestled in the wooded hills approximately two miles from Lake Coeur d'Alene, this bed and breakfast provides access to hiking and biking on the Centennial Trail, and swimming, kayaking and fishing on the lake.
This country inn, built in 2004, offers lodging for couples only. A deluxe coffee service awaits guests outside their doors each morning. Full, complimentary breakfasts are offered on the wrap-around porch or patios, in the breakfast room, in one of two dining rooms or in the guestrooms. The inn's signature dish is Praline Baked French Toast. Complimentary refreshments and gourmet treats are served each afternoon. A guest refrigerator is filled with complimentary bottled water, juices and soft drinks. Outdoor patios, the gazebo area and the wrap-around porch are available for events up to 50 guests.  The great room features a country-store theme with treasures from the 19th century, a fireplace, library and gift shop.

Three guestrooms at American Country Bed and Breakfast feature private bathrooms with bathrobes. The Big "Sweet" offers a jetted tub for two, Eastlake oak antiques, a fireplace with remote control, and a private patio and entrance.

Approximate distance to the property is 41 miles.

After exiting the airport, take I-90 East toward Coeur d'Alene. In Coeur d'Alene, take Highway 95 South toward Moscow.
Stay on Highway 95 and cross the bridge over the Spokane River.
Take the second right onto West Upriver Drive.
Continue on West Upriver Drive, which will become West Highland Drive, for 3.2 miles.
Turn left (south) onto Zircon Lane.
