Location. The Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown Lakefront is the closest of all the downtown Chicago, Ill., hotels to the Lake Michigan lakefront, only three blocks away. The blue-line trolley station across the street provides complimentary transportation to Navy Pier, Michigan Avenue shopping and Tribune Tower, all within three blocks of the hotel. State Street shopping is two blocks away.
Hotel Features. The breakfast area hosts complimentary cooked-to-order breakfasts with omelets and bacon, and a nightly manager's reception offers a variety of domestic beverages. PJ Clarke's restaurant serves American entrees and a large selection of imported spirits and cigars. A glass wall divides the lobby and dining venues from an indoor pool, spa tub and sauna. Standing five floors above street level, the entrance showcases a glass dome ceiling, panoramic elevator and double-sided, black-granite waterfall surrounded by bold accent rugs.
