The Ruby Room is located in the historic Bucktown/Wicker Park district of Chicago, Ill. This unique overnight spa property is three miles from downtown, and is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, galleries and nightlife.
This modern inn was renovated in 2007 into an urban sanctuary, and combines fashion, beauty, wellness therapy and art in over 13,000 square feet of living space. Modern furniture blends with antiques throughout the property. An outdoor healing garden showcases a waterfall and a labyrinth. A community kitchen is available for guests' use, and complimentary healing tea is served throughout the day. The Ruby Room is comprised of several floors with no elevators, and contains a healing sanctuary, rejuvenation spa, hair salon, beauty bar, yoga lounge and three boutiques. A select amount of spa services are included for overnight guests, who are invited to work closely with the inn's spa concierge to customize their stay. Books and full size spa amenity products are available for purchase.

The Ruby Room offers guest suites with private bathrooms. Large marble and glass showers are featured in all bathrooms, and commercial steam showers are provided in four of the suites. Accommodations feature hardwood floors, custom Oriental rugs and modern décor and furnishings. Units are equipped with complimentary high-speed Internet access. All suites include mini fridges. Beds boast down comforters, 400-thread count sheets and pillowtop mattresses. Thirsty towels, spa robes and slippers are provided. The guest suites are designed for tranquility and peace, therefore are not equipped with televisions or telephones. In-room massages and acupuncture are available for a fee.
