Location. Located off US-171 in Leesville, La., the Booker Lewis Bed and Breakfast is in a historic district 50 miles from the town of Alexandria. Guests are just one-and-a-half miles from the Leesville Country Club and four-and-a-half miles from Fort Polk.
Hotel Features. Built in 1905, this Queen Anne Colonial Revival was completely renovated in 2001 to provide guests with modern, everyday amenities while retaining its antique atmosphere. The house has its original windowpanes and the Louisiana yellow pine that was used to create the door facings, walls and floors. All four of the pocket doors are original, as are the light fixtures in the dining room and foyer. The sunroom offers guests a place to play board games. The great room is a popular venue for guests to mingle or to watch a good DVD. Each morning a complimentary country-style breakfast is served in the dining room, or in bed if preferred. Complimentary beverages are also offered. In the afternoon, lunch can be served on request. Non- alcohol beverages, along with wine and cheese are served on the front porch. Business-friendly amenities include two large rooms suitable for meetings and high-speed Internet access.

Guestrooms. Each spacious guestroom at the Booker Lewis B&B has been decorated for comfort. Neutral colors, charming fabrics and alluring window treatments highlight each room. While rooms provide modern conveniences, the inn maintains much of the original old world charm of 1905.
