Location. The 100-year-old Le Pavillon is located in New Orleans, La., a registered Historic Hotel, Leading Hotels of the World that has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel stands within four blocks of Harrah's New Orleans Casino & Hotel and eight blocks from Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
Hotel Features. An architectural landmark built in 1907, Le Pavillon's lobby features Parisian woodwork, Italian marble flooring and Czech crystal chandeliers. Guests can enjoy continental cuisine in the Crystal Room, including Shrimp Scampi and Tchoupitoulas Pork Chops. Buffet-style lunches at the Crystal Room include a made-to-order pasta bar. Guests can follow up with cocktails in Le Gallery Lounge and enjoy live entertainment nightly. A retreat to the roof of this 10-story building presents a heated pool, cabanas and spa tub, with spectacular city and river views. The hotel also features a 24-hour fitness center and spa services.

Guestrooms. Each floor of the hotel boasts hand-painted ceilings, original artwork picked by the staff and an antique original. The 226 guestrooms are decorated with original artwork, antiques, pillow-top mattresses and handmade bedspreads, upholstery and drapery. Expert Tip. Built in 1907, Le Pavillon stands on the site of a theater that mysteriously burned down in 1889. Several apparitions have been spotted throughout the years in the restaurant, on the third floor and in suite 930. The entities are believed to be mischievous but not malevolent. One walks throughout the building, playing pranks on the cleaning crew.
