Edelweiss Condominiums is located in the heart of the Big Mountain Ski and Summer Resort.  While staying at the Edelweiss, guests will enjoy a fitness facility, café, whirlpool and accompanying sauna, outdoor sundeck, and complimentary parking.  In the winter, you are just steps away from the slopes of one of the largest ski areas in the West. In the summer, the Edelweiss gives you access to a premier summer vacation destination.

Every Edelweiss unit features a handsome interior with a fireplace and complete kitchen, including range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffeemaker with complimentary coffee.  A balcony or patio is also featured in each unit, most with outstanding views.  Other conveniences include air conditioning, alarm clock radio, cable television and DVD player, CD player, direct-dial telephone with voice mail, high-speed Internet access, and iron and ironing board. Fire logs are provided for guests' convenience.

Area Activities

Winter at the Big Mountain Resort offers over 3,000 acres of downhill skiing and snowboarding, as well as cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, tubing, horse-drawn sleigh rides and dinners, night skiing, snowshoeing, and moonlight gondola rides. The S.N.O.W. bus shuttles also travel into Whitefish thirteen times daily for more shopping, dining and activity options.  During the summer, Big Mountain Village guests enjoy the views of the Flathead Valley below. Gondola rides, mountain bikes or  mountain hikes can access the summit for breathtaking views of Glacier Park, Bob Marshall Wilderness and the Canadian Rockies. Summer activities on Big Mountain include mountain biking, hiking, fly-fishing lessons, horseback riding, tennis, and gondola rides. Concerts, stargazing and art treks are scheduled throughout the summer. There are many other attractions around the Flathead Valley. Guests can go whitewater rafting, river fishing, wildlife viewing, golfing, and boating on Whitefish or Flathead Lake. No matter what season of the year, Big Mountain Village offers plenty of activities for a fun-filled vacation.

Driving Directions - Edelweiss Condominiums

3840 Big Mountain Road, Whitefish, MT - From Glacier Park International Airport:  When departing the airport, get onto US 2 North and continue to the junction of US 2 and US 40.  Turn left onto US 40.  Take US 40 to US 93, and turn right onto US 93.  Continue into the town of Whitefish and turn left onto 2nd Avenue.  Turn right onto Baker Avenue.  Head North over the viaduct. Baker Avenue turns into Wisconsin.  Follow Wisconsin for three miles then turn right onto Big Mountain Road.  Continue for six miles to Big Mountain Village.
