Kintla Lodge is a premier ski-in/ski-out condominium property just a snowball's throw from the Tenderfoot chairlift. This upscale ski resort boasts great business amenities, such as banquet facilities, conference rooms, and high-speed Internet access. Some of these amenities may be located in a neighboring building (Moguls Bar & Restaurant and guest services). There is secure underground parking, elevator, heated ski lockers, and a lounge area with large stone fireplace with a nearby sauna and outdoor hot tub.

The hotel rooms and condominiums at the Kintla Lodge have lodge-style furnishings and a Montana rustic décor. All of the accommodations offer exceptional amenities, including cable TV and VCR. The condos have a full kitchen, fireplace, and high-speed Internet access in the living room. The hotel rooms are equipped with a sink, coffeemaker, and small refrigerator. All units have ski mountain views or valley/mountain views, and the condos have balconies. The property is completely non-smoking.

Area Activities

Winter at the Big Mountain Resort offers over 3,000 acres of downhill skiing and snowboarding, as well as cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, tubing, horse-drawn sleigh rides and dinners, night skiing, snowshoeing, and moonlight gondola rides. The S.N.O.W. bus shuttles also travel into Whitefish thirteen times daily for more shopping, dining, and activity options.  During the summer, Big Mountain Village guests enjoy the views of the Flathead Valley below. Gondola rides, mountain bikes or a mountain hike access the summit for breathtaking views of Glacier Park, Bob Marshall Wilderness, and the Canadian Rockies. Summer activities on Big Mountain include mountain biking, hiking, fly-fishing lessons, horseback riding, tennis, and gondola rides. Concerts, stargazing, and art treks are scheduled throughout the summer. There are many other attractions around the Flathead Valley. Guests can go whitewater rafting, river fishing, wildlife viewing, golfing, and boating on Whitefish or Flathead Lake. Big Mountain is the perfect spot for a vacation any time of the year.

Driving Directions - Kintla Lodge

3840 Big Mountain Road, Whitefish, MT - From Glacier Park International Airport:  When departing the airport, get onto US 2 North and continue to the junction of US 2 and US 40.  Turn left onto US 40.  Take US 40 to US 93, and turn right onto US 93.  Continue into the town of Whitefish and turn left onto 2nd Avenue.  Turn right onto Baker Avenue.  Head North over the viaduct, Baker Avenue becomes Wisconsin Ave.  Follow Wisconsin for three miles, then turn right onto Big Mountain Road.  Continue for 5.5 miles to the Big Mountain Village at Big Mountain Resort.
