Location. Nestled under stoic pecan trees and a 200-year-old white oak, The Kerr House is located in Statesville, N.C., at the crossroads of Interstate 40 and Interstate 77. The inn is located in the Davie Avenue Historic District one-half mile from the city's downtown, which serves as home to an assortment of shops and restaurants housed in unique historical buildings. The Iredell Museum of Arts and Heritage, featuring a 2,000 year old mummy, is less than one mile away.
Features. This Victorian inn, built in 1891, offers a white wrap-around porch with rocking chairs and a traditional porch swing. Full, complimentary breakfasts, featuring freshly baked bread and scones, are served each morning in the dining room. Complimentary snacks, soda and gourmet coffee are provided. The inn's parlor features a fireplace and board games. Pets are not allowed at this property.
