Located on six acres atop a cliff overlooking the Smoky Mountains, the Mountain Creek Bed & Breakfast offers a wooded setting in Waynesville, N.C. The inn is 12 miles from the Cataloochee Ski Area, and less than 15 miles from the Maggie Valley Opry House and the Soco Gardens Zoo.
Built in 1950, this contemporary lodge-style bed and breakfast features a wrap-around deck overlooking a creek and trout pond 100 miles below. The bed and breakfast features a landscaped arrangement of poplar trees, maples, dogwoods, daffodils and tulips. Complimentary healthy gourmet breakfasts are served each morning on the deck. A fireplace, knotty chestnut paneling, and 36 floor-to-ceiling windows are featured throughout the inn. Hiking trails weaving past two creeks and waterfalls traverse the property's grounds.

All guestrooms and suites at the Mountain Creek Bed & Breakfast offer private bathrooms. The inn's two upstairs rooms feature private balconies providing views of the Smoky Mountains. Two suites with jetted tubs and private decks are available in the inn's carriage house. Rooms are individually-decorated with a variety of thematic elements, including hats hanging on bedposts to musical instruments on the walls. Two of the rooms feature wood paneling and sloped ceilings. Select rooms offer full-length mirrors, beds with drawing curtains, desks and floor-to ceiling windows.
