Location. The Bear Mountain Lodge is located in Bethlehem, N.H., in the White Mountains. Golf is available within two miles at the Maplewood and Bethlehem Country Clubs. The Mount Washington Cog Railway, a sightseeing and ski train which climbs up some of the steepest railway tracks in the world, is accessible less than five miles away.
Features. This lodge is fashioned of Eastern White Pine logs, and is set on 26 acres. The grounds offer direct views of Mount Washington and a walking trail along the Ammonoosuc River. Complimentary country breakfasts are served in the dining room, and a pantry provides complimentary soft drinks and snacks. The lodge is equipped with complimentary high-speed Internet access. A great room offers a wood soapstone stove and a quiet loft area stocked with reading materials. The lodge's deck offers views of the sunrise and the area's resident wildlife, including moose, deer, wild turkey and the occasional black bear. The backyard features an outdoor fireplace surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Children under 12 years old are not permitted at the lodge except November 26th until January 2nd, when the lodge is transformed into a family-friendly establishment, and showcases Christmas decorations.
Guestrooms. The Bear Mountain Lodge features nine romantic guestrooms, several boasting in-room jetted tubs, steam showers and fireplaces. Beds provide double pillowtop mattresses and high-quality linens. All rooms include private bathrooms with quality bath products and makeup mirrors. Cable television and CD players are provided.

Expert Tip. Guests can snowmobile directly from the lodge's property on a groomed trail that connects to the White Mountain National Forest and all trails north and south.
