Cape May: Nightlife and entertainment
Cape May is a friendly and laid-back place to be after dark; the day-trippers have gone home and the bars and music venues are enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. If you're after something a bit more lively, head a few miles north to the raucous nightclubs of Wildwood . Again, remember that you may have to travel a little farther than you expect to find a bar that serves alcohol.Cabana's 429 Beach Ave tel 609/884-4800. Two-level bar which often hosts live music downstairs; upstairs is a low-key cocktail lounge.
Carney's 401 Beach Ave tel 609/884-4424. Spacious and relaxed Irish bar, with raucous live music.
