Las Vegas: Casino War

Casino War is the easiest, fastest, and most banal card game imaginable, introduced to suit an era when fewer and fewer people know any card games at all. Each player, including the dealer, is dealt one card face up. If your card is higher than the dealer's, you win your bet; if it's lower, you lose. If they're the same, you can either "surrender," and lose half your stake, or go to "war," by doubling your stake. You both then get another card; this time if you beat, or tie with, the dealer, you win your original stake only, whereas if you lose the dealer takes both your bets. Assuming you always go to war - the better option - the house advantage is 2.9 percent.
