Location. The Big Oak B&B is located in Sandusky, Ohio, three miles from Cedar Point Amusement Park. Jaycee Park, Ghostly Manor and the Follett House are less than two miles away. The historic Lyme Village, which includes a one-room schoolhouse, general store, blacksmith shop and 19th-century homes, is less than 15 miles from the Big Oak B&B.
Features. This Victorian-style farmhouse offers a bi-level, Tudor-style family room with a cathedral ceiling and a Franklin fireplace. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room. The inn's signature dish is egg puffs served with strawberries. The grounds include walking trails and many different types of gardens, including Japanese, rose, herbal, English, drying, sunken, rock and perennial varieties. Recreational activities available at the bed and breakfast include canoeing, hiking and horseshoes. Pets are not allowed.
