Just seconds from the Winyah Bay Gold Club, one of the many fine golf courses of The Grand Strand.  Rich history, natural beauty, and recreation make this area a premier vacation destination. There is much to be taken in at the Historic Seaport of Georgetown and Harborwalk, with its elegant and quaint restaurants, specialty shops, museums and art galleries. Take an historical or boat tour, or a leisurely stroll by the waterfront; along the peaceful streets where nationally registered homes and churches date all the way back to the 1700's.  Besides the natural Low country beauty surrounding you here at our bed and breakfast, nearby are many other natural wonders; beaches, state parks and plantations. Also close attractions such as Brookgreen Gardens, named in "Southern Living" as "one of the South's five favorite public gardens."  For recreation, it's hard to top our location in the almost perfect year-round weather, combined with the convergence of the Atlantic ocean, Winyah Bay, and the Sampit, Black, Waccamaw and Big Pee Dee rivers. Intercoastal waterways offer numerous boating and fishing opportunities, one of the main public boat launching facilities located at the end of our very own South Island Road.

3030 South Island Road, Georgetown, SC - Myrtle Beach International Airport: Depart airport heading south on Jet Port Road.  Take a left to stay on Jet Port Road, then take a slight right onto Harrison Boulevard.  Stay straight to go onto US-17 South/US-17 Bypass/Mark Garner Highway.  Continue to follow US-17 South.  Turn left onto Britt Street.  Then turn right onto South Island Road/SC-18, and end at the property.
