Location. Located on Grand Strand beach in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Monterey Bay Suites is two miles from Dixie Stampede, five miles from Ripley's Aquarium and nine miles from Myrtle Beach State Park.
Features. With tropical decor, floor-to-ceiling windows and views of the ocean, the lobby offers a glimpse of the relaxing, contemporary atmosphere at the Monterey Bay Suites. A complimentary breakfast and evening desserts are served daily. The resort's meeting room is equipped with a computer with high-speed Internet access for a fee. Monterey Bay Suites features a pavilion with an indoor pool, lazy river, children's pool and an eight-person jetted tub. A seasonal outdoor pool and four-person jetted tub are adjacent to the pavilion. The resort also features a rooftop pool and sundeck with lounge chairs. Additional amenities include concierge services, coin-operated washers and dryers, and video games. Complimentary, supervised children's activities are offered in the summer.

Guestrooms. Monterey Bay Suites offers 194 suites in a 16-story building. Each suite features a living room, dining area and kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, four-burner range, toaster, coffeemaker and cookware. All suites feature a private balcony. Two cable televisions are provided in each suite.

Expert Tip. Broadway at the Beach offers a fireworks show every Tuesday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day and during special events.
