Location. The beachfront Breakers Resort is located in Myrtle Beach, S.C., one mile from Broadway at the Beach and Ripley's Aquarium and five miles from hiking, fishing and picnicking at Myrtle Beach State Park. Myrtle Beach International Airport is just four miles away.
Features. The centerpiece of The Breakers Resort is a pool complex with a lazy river, freeform pool, children's pool and two spa tubs. The resort also boasts four additional spa tubs, four additional children's pools, two outdoor pools and a combined indoor/outdoor pool. This family-friendly resort offers a variety of on-site eateries, including Papa's, Jaybo's Pizza & Grill and the hotel's seasonal pool bar, Baja Cantina. The resort's lobby, located in the central tower, features a high-speed Internet kiosk and 24- hour front desk. The central tower offers a fitness center with cardiovascular machines, a universal gym and steam rooms, with a smaller fitness center available in the north tower. Supervised children's activities are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and generally include indoor and outdoor activities such as arts and crafts and pizza nights for a fee.

Guestrooms. The Breakers Resort offers 538 non-smoking guestrooms throughout the 11-story south tower, 21-story paradise tower and the 19-story north tower. Most guestrooms are decorated with light-colored wood furnishings and bright, tropical fabrics. Amenities include balconies with ocean or courtyard views, pillowtop mattresses and cable television. Mini fridges and microwave ovens are included.
