Location. The Buckhorn Inn, located five miles from downtown Gatlinburg, Tenn., is nestled on 25 acres of woodlands and meadows with native wildflowers and grasses. The inn is one mile from the north entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Gatlinburg is home to many family attractions, including Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre, approximately six miles away. Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum and the Christus Gardens are seven miles away. Dollywood is 13 miles from the inn.
Features. The grounds of Buckhorn Inn feature a spring-fed lake with ducks and fish, a self-guided nature trail and Rachael's Labyrinth, a circular pathway of local fieldstone, 60 feet in diameter. Built in 1938, the Buckhorn Inn features a great room with a stone fireplace, a wall lined with bookshelves, and a coffee and snack bar. Complimentary a la carte breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room. Lunch and dinner are available for a fee. A conference room and complimentary wireless Internet access are available. The flagstone terrace offers views of Tennessee's most famous peak, Mount LeConte.
