Location. The Gardenia Inn is located in the King William Historic District in San Antonio, Texas. The Riverwalk on the San Antonio River, two blocks from the inn, offers a variety of restaurants, entertainment and bars. Six restaurants are located in the neighborhood within three blocks of the inn. The Alamo is located less than one mile from the property.
Features. Built in 1905, this Greek Revival home is furnished with antiques and family heirlooms. The home offers a veranda furnished with Adirondack chairs and a treadle porch swing. Coffee and tea are served early each morning. Full complimentary breakfasts, featuring specialties such as spinach and oven-dried tomato frittatas, are offered in the dining room. The inn provides complimentary soft drinks and bottled water. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the home. The inn offers a computer station, and fax and photocopy services. Gleaming hardwood floors and two fireplaces welcome guests in the common living room.
