The Stonewall Jackson Inn is located in historic Harrisonburg, Va., in the Shenandoah Valley, one mile from James Madison University.  Eastern Mennonite University is two-and-one-half miles away. The Massanutten Ski Resort is a 15-mile scenic drive on Route 33 from the inn.
Built in 1885, this restored mansion blends traditional Queen Anne style with stone and shingled, New England cottage-style architecture. The mansion stands on two acres, landscaped with rose bushes, flowerbeds and the Old Horse and Carriage Barn. The inn is comprised of three finished floors with a large Queen Anne entrance and beamed ceilings. Full, complimentary breakfasts, including Eggs Nova Scotia, French Croissant Toast, Brie Breakfast Soufflé, Eggs Orleans and a light fare menu, are served daily. The inn offers three dining area options, an outdoor raised deck, skylight breakfast room and a formal dining room with a fireplace. This bed and breakfast offers conference rooms, complimentary wireless Internet access and photocopy services. The stairways and doors of the inn were built wide enough to accommodate hoop skirts, for guests in the early years of the inn, who would enter from their carriages to the front veranda. The mansion also features a grand parlor. A local certified massage therapist provides services upon request in the privacy of the guestrooms.

The Stonewall Jackson Inn offers 10 guestrooms with private bathrooms. Each guestroom is unique in décor and ambience, with the original light fixtures, high ceilings and hardwood floors. Beds are dressed in 600-thread count sheets. Cable television and wireless Internet access are provided. Collections of artwork by Shenandoah Valley artists, including limited edition prints of P. Buckley Moss, are showcased in the guestrooms, and stairway and hall galleries.

Exit at the Harrisonburg exit (Exit 247B).
