There is much to do in this picturesque area of Vermont in both the summer and winter. Visitors won't want to miss a tour through the Crowley Cheese Factory or the Long Trail Brewing Company. Maple sugar houses are abundant in this area. Take a trip to Sugar and Spice or By-Rox Farm, LTD. Interesting museums and sites in the area include the Norman Rockwell Museum, Vermont Institute of Natural Science, Vermont Marble Exhibit, Vermont Ski Museum, and Wilson Castle. There are many outdoor activities to enjoy in the winter, such as downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. With six mountains to choose from, Killington is heaven for outdoor enthusiasts. In the summer, hiking, golfing and biking are popular. Pico Resort Hotel & Condominiums, VT - From the Burlington International Airport, Vermont: Depart Burlington International Airport on local roads going Southwest. Bear left (South) onto Airport Circle. Turn left onto Airport Drive. Turn left (East) onto US-2 (Williston Road). Turn left (North-East) onto ramp. Merge onto I-89 (South-East). At I-89 Exit 3, "Bethel, Rutland," exit off I-89. Turn right onto Route 107 West. Follow this to Route 100 South. Go approximately 11 miles to the Junction of Route 100 and Route 4, in the Killington Region. Follow signs for Route 4 West (stay right). Take Route 4 and turn into the "Pico Ski Area" (2 miles West of Killington Road). Drive into the main parking lot and "C" Building is straight ahead on the left. Guests will check in at the Pico Hotel Front Desk, located in "C" Building.
