Skiing is the most popular activity in Killington. The Green Mountain range is home to the six peaks of Killington Mountain as well as Pico Mountain. Besides some of the best skiing in the Northeast, the area is also home to the Norman Rockwell Museum (8 miles), Vermont Institute of Natural Science, Wilson Castle, and the Calvin Coolidge Homestead. Maple syrup isn't just an industry, it's a Vermont way of life. Visit the New England Maple Museum or one of the many maple sugar houses. Year-round, there are plenty of activities, indoors and outdoors, to keep guests busy enough that it will be hard to find the time to do everything in only one trip. Spend time fishing, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, and shopping, or catch a play or opera. Visitors can also tour the Long Trail Brewing Company just 8 miles from the inn. The Killington Ski, Golf & Adventure Center is 4 miles away. The Pico Ski Area & Alpine Slide are only 1 mile from the property and the Green Mountain National Golf Course is 2 miles away. Guests will have direct walking access to the Appalachian Trail and Long Trail from the inn.
