Location. The Brass Lantern Inn is located in Stowe, Vt., one-half mile from Main Street on the edge of the village. The inn is positioned two miles from the Stowe Country Club and approximately six miles from the Stowe Ski Resort.
Features. The Brass Lantern Inn, which overlooks the Green Mountains in the distance, was built in 1810 and renovated in 2005. Complimentary country breakfasts are served each morning on antique oak tables in the inn's dining room. Complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and home-baked goodies are served each afternoon and evening by a crackling fire in the living room or on the patio, which offers views of Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. The Brass Lantern Inn features a library and an outdoor deck with a hot tub. One of the two sitting areas contains an antique armoire with a television, DVD player, stereo and CD player. Pets are not allowed.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Brass Lantern Inn are decorated with antique furnishings, wide plank floors and country quilts. All rooms include private bathrooms with jetted tubs. Fireplaces are available in select accommodations. Televisions are available upon request. Fine English toiletries and quality Vermont chocolates are provided.
