Location. The Basin Harbor Club sits on 700 acres overlooking a quiet cove on Lake Champlain in Vergennes, Vermont. Vergennes is the third oldest city in the United States, and at 1,200 acres, it is thought to be the smallest. Miles of nature trails are great for hiking and the lake provides plenty of recreational possibilities, including fishing, boating and waterskiing.
Hotel Features. The historic resort is set on 700 acres with splendid views of the Adirondacks. An Olympic size heated pool, five tennis courts, and two playgrounds can be found on site. Guests receive complimentary use of a nearby fitness center. Bicycle and boat rentals are available at the waterfront. Beautiful gardens, an 18-hole golf course and spa services are also located at the resort. Breakfast is available and there is a coffee shop on the grounds. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas and there is a business center with audiovisual equipment. The Main Dining Room serves a formal five-course dinner each evening and The Red Mill is a casual bistro located on the property.  Other amenities include a 24-hour front desk and laundry facilities.
