Location. Located in the Green Mountains of  Mount Snow Valley, Vt., the Nutmeg Country Inn is adjacent to the historic Molly Stark Trail and downhill skiing at Mount Snow is a one and one-half mile drive away. Mount Snow Valley is also home to a golf course and The Memorial Hall Center for the Arts, which presents live performances and theater productions, is one half-mile from the inn.
Hotel Features The Nutmeg Country Inn is a charming example of an early American farmhouse, complete with barn and carriage house. Built in 1777, the inn retains many of its original architectural details, including exposed beams, original tin ceilings, antique doors, dormer ceilings and wood floors. Antique furnishings and original period artwork abound. A crackling fire, board games, billiards and darts are ready and waiting in the inn's common room. The grounds include over two acres of lush gardens, green meadows, and tree-lined trails. A complimentary personalized breakfast is available to guests each morning while tea and cookies are offered in the afternoon. Fresh baked goods may also be purchased from the inn's own bakery.

Guestrooms. The Nutmeg Country Inn has 14 guestrooms and suites, each with king or queen beds. Both room types have televisions, air conditioning and private baths. The suites also include a jetted tub, sitting area and wood-burning fireplace.

Expert Tip. Many families make the three-mile drive to the Adams Farm, a working, sixth generation farm that offers sleigh rides, livestock barn, bonfire parties, fudge fondue nights and evening hayrides.

From Albany Int'l Airport:
Proceed to 187 North and take the Route 7 East exit.
Route 7 will turn into Route 9 in Vermont.
Continue on Route 9 East through Bennington.
