First opened in 1914, 13-story The Davenport Hotel and Tower in downtown Spokane, Wash., reopened in July 2002 after a $30 million renovation. Spokane's only AAA four diamond awarded hotel is centrally located in the heart of the downtown arts, business and shopping districts. Chandeliers, stained glass, and ornate woodwork create a stylish setting for three restaurants and a European- style spa. The Davenport Hotel and Tower offers a total of 283 spacious guest rooms, including 24 suites, featuring amenities unlike any other hotel in the region - hand-carved mahogany furniture, imported Irish linens, coffered ceilings with crown molding 27" flat-screen TVs, three phones, spacious crosscut Travertine marble showers and bathrooms.
