The Duvall House Bed & Breakfast is located one block from a sandy beach on Lake Michigan in Kewaunee, Wis. Kewaunee Harbor, where a tugboat that participated in the D-Day invasion of France in World War II resides, is one-quarter mile away. There is also a picnic area near the boat, and tours are available.
This Italianate-style villa, built in 1881, was the first mansion built in the Marquette Historic District. Double-etched doors lead into the foyer, which showcases the original spiral staircase and parquet floors. On either side of the foyer, are 10-foot, etched pocket doors, which match all of the exterior doors throughout the house. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room. Wine and cheese are offered each evening. Coffee is available in the guest hallway. The library offers a computer station and complimentary high-speed Internet access. The mansion features a marble fireplace and period furnishings in the Victorian parlor, a sunroom and an outdoor swing on the north lawn. Lawn games include bocce ball and badminton. The entertainment room features a 50-inch television with surround sound.

Guestrooms are uniquely decorated, and feature antique furnishings, hardwood floors and private bathrooms. Select rooms offer jetted tubs.
